Cleaning and Furnishing of 7th BHA Apartment Completed

In August, members of Trinity and St. James Pitman completed another BHA apartment on Hummel Street in Harrisburg.  It is a one-bedroom apartment which will soon be occupied by a mom and her newborn baby.  A big thanks to all who cleaned and donated items needed to completely furnish this apartment so this new mom can have a good start on her new journey. 

BHA has programs or partners with other organizations to help moms become self-sufficient. Included is job training/seeking/maintaining services, parenting education, life skills training, counseling services, and youth programs for the kids. BHA staff and volunteers continuously show these moms the love and care they need to develop and realize their own self-worth, empowering them to overcome the obstacles that lead them to the homelessness situation.
