May the light and promise of the Resurrection shine in the lives of the family and friends of Brenda Schaeffer. Rest eternal grant her, Lord, and let light perpetual shine upon her.

Brenda Louise Schaeffer entered into eternal rest on February 9, 2018.  Pastor Brian shared this about Brenda…  Brenda recently lost her mother, Gloria Miller, and in fact was residing in the same facility as Gloria, the Manor at Susquehanna Village.  I was glad to see how happy Brenda was upon moving to the Manor, which happened fairly recently. She had a room to herself and was able to visit with her mother every day.  Last December, I brought Timmy in to see her, and she just marveled over him.  I remember being embarrassed because Timmy was making loud noises, and Brenda just thought it was great!  Brenda was blessed with a loving family, including her husband Ken and their children.  Following the news of her passing, Ken's living room was filled with people gathered in support and love, and it was wonderful to hear stories and even some laughter in the midst of the tears.  May the hope of the resurrection carry us as we mourn the loss of Brenda Schaeffer.
