Annual Easter Egg Hunt
On Palm Sunday our Sunday School Students again enjoyed our Annual Easter Egg Hunt with Resurrection Snack Mix Story and much more. Our thanks to the children who participated and to the Christian Ed Committee for making it possible.
New Members
On Saturday, March 9th, we welcomed two new members into our fellowship –
Tim Fetterolf,
husband of JoEllen and father of Brenna
and
Rick Otto,
husband of Robin and father of Lizzie. Gracious Father, May Your light shine upon them, guiding their steps and filling their hearts with your unending love. Grant them a sense of belonging and acceptance and let them find comfort in the warmth of this community. Help us open our arms wide, embracing them with the same love and compassion that You have shown us. Amen
Congratulations, Mr and Mrs Harris!
We offer our heartfelt congratulations and love to Rebecca (Witmer) and Tim Harris who were united in Marriage on Monday, March 25, 2024. Rebecca is the daughter of Ernest and Tracey Witmer, and Aunt to Mack and Ben. Tim is the son of Mark and Theresa Harris of Fearnot. Eternal God, strengthen Rebecca and Tim with patience, kindness, gentleness, and all other gifts of your spirit, so they may fulfill the vows they have made. Keep them faithful to each other and to you. Fill them with such love and joy that they may build a home of peace and welcome. Guide them by your word to serve you all their days; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
Boy Scout and Girl Scout Sundays
On Sunday, March 3 rd we celebrated Boy Scout Sunday and on Sunday, March 10th we celebrated Girl Scout Sunday. On these Sundays we welcomed scouts, leaders, and their families to worship with us to celebrate these amazing organizations. We are happy and proud to be their sponsoring organization and thank them for worshipping with us and taking part in our service. We extend our appreciation to their leaders for their commitment to these scouts and to their families for their love and support.
Agape Table Meal
March’s Agape meal served 72 platters. April’s Agape Meal will be held on Wednesday, April 10, at 5:30 PM in the social hall. The menu will be homemade chicken noodle soup, pulled pork/bun, chips, and dessert. Please consider joining us for food and fellowship! Pass the word to your friends and neighbors. Trinity’s Agape Table meal is always free. No offering is ever taken at the meal. Although registration is not required, signing up helps the Kitchen Committee better plan the amount of food to cook. You can sign up on the easel at the back of the sanctuary, or by calling the church office at (570)682-9373 by Monday, April 1 (no fooling!). .
“Manna, Quail and Water”
Easter Sunday | March 31st
Our Sunday School Pupils studied Moses and Israel’s journey to the Promised Land: “Manna, Quail and Water”, how God provides. Six pupils together with their teacher Vicki Snyder decorated six bags that were placed by the food pantry closet. They want to provide for our food pantry. On Easter Sunday they collected the following items which were placed in the bags they had decorated:
