Sunday School for December
Children’s Christmas program rehearsals will take place during
Sunday School time in the Social Hall on 12/7 and 12/14.
We will practice on 12/21 at 9:00 AM.
The program will be 12/21 during worship at 10:30 AM.
Children’s Christmas Program
Sunday, December 21st
Our Sunday School children will lead us in worship at the 10:30 AM service with our annual Children’s Christmas Program. This is always a special service where we celebrate the birth of our Lord, Jesus, as seen through the eyes of our children. Please join us.
Trinity Youth Group Cookie Bake
& Gift Exchange
Sunday, December7th
11:30am - 2:00pm
We will have a nice lunch followed by merrily baking cookies for the Agape Meal. Followed by a fun gift exchange game and make holiday decorations to brighten up the social hall for the Agape Meal!!! (Exchange gift should not be more than $5 and could be anything fun to play with or yummy to eat!!!)

Red Cross Blood Drive

A blood drive will take place on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, from 1:00 to 6:00 PM. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Valley View. To schedule an appointment to donate, go to RedCrossBlood.org.
Confirmation Classes
Confirmation Classes continue on Sundays from 9:30 AM until 10:15 AM in our library. We could work to bring on board more seventh graders | thirteen-year-olds. Just show up and we’ll work to do the rest.
Bible Study
Monday evenings, 6:00 PM
in the Church Overflow
Our goal is to read the entire Bible in about a year and discuss what we’ve read. To do this we are using The Bible Recap, a One-Year Guide to Reading and Understanding the Entire Bible by Tara-Leigh Cobble in conjunction with The Bible Recap Journal, Your Daily Companion to The Entire Bible. Agape Table Meal
Trinity’s Agape Meal will be held on
Wednesday, December 10, at 5:30 PM
in the social hall.
December’s menu will be roast beef, filling/gravy, green beans, coleslaw, and Christmas cookies.
Trinity’s Agape Table meal is always free. No offering is ever taken at the meal. Although registration is not required, signing up helps the Kitchen Committee better plan the amount of food to cook. You can sign up on the easel at the back of the sanctuary, or by calling the church office at (570) 682-9373.
Trinity Prayer Chain
Trinity has started up our prayer chain again using a text group. Anyone can send a text to the group requesting prayer. For further information contact the church office.
