Tree of Life
The Tree of Life was presented to Trinity Lutheran Church in memory of Russell and Jean Dietrich by their daughters.
Christian education was very dear to Jean’s heart. She taught Sunday School, served as Superintendent, and was very active on the Christian Education Committee for many years. Her desire was to continue supporting Christian education at Trinity. Jean’s daughters followed her wishes by establishing the Tree of Life Project. The tree contains 250 leaves on which the names and important events of Trinity’s members and loved ones may be engraved as a permanent legacy in the life of our congregation. The cost of a leaf is $60 with proceeds from the sale of the leaves after shipping and engraving costs (approximately $10) used to support Christian education programs at Trinity from nursery to adult. Persons for whom leaves are purchased may be members of Trinity or nonmembers who are special to members of Trinity.
If you are interested in purchasing a leaf, please complete the “Leave Your Legacy” form which can be obtained by clicking the button below or by contacting the church office. After the completed form and payment are received, your leaf will be sent for engraving. You will be notified when your leaf has been returned and mounted on the tree.
